If you’re reading this, you know how important that gasket is for the Green Egg to function properly. You also know that after a while the nice puffy gasket gets weighted down with oils and melted onto and stuck to the ceramic base and lid.

Getting the old gasket off is the hardest part and they thoughtfully included a putty knife/scraper in the box. After that, it’s basically as simple as pulling the paper off of the adhesive side of the gasket and sticking it on the lid and base of the Green Egg. I said “basically” because anytime you have to apply a strip to a circle, there will be some time and attention required. But, truly, if you get the old gasket off and if the surface is clean enough, this will be an easy process.
